How we write about the work

SensualHerosJourney.com is the editorial home of The Sensual Hero’s Journey™. Its purpose is to explain the method, its language, books, practices, context and development accurately enough for readers, practitioners, journalists, researchers and search systems to understand what the work actually is.

Primary sources

The nine books are the principal source for the method’s structure, terminology, practices and authored concepts.

Current, creator-approved material from I AWAKE and other explicitly supplied documents may clarify positioning, availability and the wider ecosystem.

Older website copy is not treated as authoritative when it conflicts with the books or the creator’s current direction.

Five kinds of statement

During editorial review, statements are distinguished as:

  1. Directly supported by the books.
  2. Directly supported by current canonical ecosystem material.
  3. A defensible synthesis of supported material.
  4. An external factual claim requiring a reliable source.
  5. Unsupported and therefore removed.

Interpretation is not presented as official history, mechanism or evidence.

Research language

Where scientific or scholarly work is discussed, the page should identify the actual subject of the evidence, use primary sources where possible and distinguish empirical findings from theory, metaphor and editorial interpretation.

Research supporting a component practice is not automatically described as research evaluating the complete Sensual Hero’s Journey method.

Uncertainty is part of accuracy. It should be named without turning every public page into a defence brief.

Authorship and review

Substantial editorial pages should identify the author or editor, their relationship to the work, the date of review and the relevant sources.

AI-assisted drafting, if used, remains subject to human editorial responsibility and source validation. The published language must be reviewed for fidelity, relevance, precision and voice.

Corrections

If you find a factual error, an outdated link, a term used inconsistently or a passage that attributes more certainty than its source permits, contact us with the page and the correction proposed.
