Seven chapters. One living question.
Every journey has its own subject, language and emotional movement. The underlying rhythm remains recognisable so the reader does not have to learn a new method every morning.
You arrive. You listen. You read. You write. You let the body answer in colour. You close the day. You return.
The opening audio
Before reading, a short guided practice brings attention to breath and body. Nothing needs to be solved. The purpose is to meet the chapter from inside your experience rather than standing outside yourself gathering information.
The written chapter
Each day approaches the journey’s central territory from another angle. The writing moves between close observation, everyday scenes, psychological language, questions and lived reflection.
The chapter is not a lecture followed by a test. It is part of the experience.
The four questions
Four prompts return every day:
What is more here?
What is less here?
What is true here?
What is alive here?
Because the words remain the same, the changing answers become easier to hear. They can be long, blunt, contradictory or unfinished.
The body map
Readers use red, yellow and green to mark sensation and intensity on a body outline. The colours are a simple visual language, not a scoring system.
The map may reveal heat, pressure, numbness, movement, openness or nothing clear at all. Its value is in helping the body remain present in a process the mind could otherwise carry alone.
The closing audio
The day ends by returning attention to the whole body. This helps the reader stay with what surfaced without leaving the chapter intellectually open and the rest of the self behind.
The Return practices
Shorter practices are available for the days when time is thin or the rhythm has been interrupted. The Return is not a consolation prize for imperfect readers. It is part of the method’s central understanding: coming back is a capacity of its own.
The Circle
After Day Seven, The Circle opens a different mode of attention. It is an imaginal journey: less about answering another question and more about entering a sensory inner scene where symbol, image and felt response can meet.
The longer practice
A longer guided practice remains available after the seven chapters. It can be revisited when the reader wants to reconnect with the journey’s tone, settle into the body or stay in relationship with what opened.
What seven days can hold
Seven days can hold attention, repetition and a meaningful encounter with one territory. They are not a promise to undo a lifetime of adaptation on schedule.
The journey may be complete as a book and still unfinished as a relationship. That is not a defect in the form. It is an honest description of being human.
