Source status: book-authored SHJ teaching language, used as a metaphorical channel of felt and relational meaning.
Heart names the part of experience that asks what a moment means personally: what is loved, feared, grieved, hoped for or kept warm.
It is not a claim that the physical heart contains a separate mind or that the strongest feeling is automatically true. The distinction helps readers hear meaning without collapsing it into bodily signal or mental explanation.
Different from: emotion. Emotion describes a wider interacting process. Heart is the method’s language for personal and relational significance within that process.
