Interpretation

Interpretation is the meaning the mind gives to information.

A pause becomes rejection. A tight chest becomes danger. A compliment becomes exposure. The interpretation may be accurate, partly accurate or organised around older evidence.

The method does not ask the reader to distrust thought. It asks her to hear the moment an interpretation becomes a story and the story begins presenting itself as the whole event.

Different from: signal. A signal is registered. Interpretation explains what the signal means.
