A signal is information registered before its meaning is fully settled.
It may be a tightening, lift, ache, heat, urge, pause or change in breath. In All of Me, the body is described as the channel of signal, the mind as interpretation and the heart as meaning.
A signal deserves attention. It does not interpret itself.
