Signal Priority

Source status: book-authored SHJ term in All of Me.

Signal priority is the familiar order in which one inner channel is believed first when pressure arrives.

For one person, bodily alarm may take authority. For another, analysis, emotional intensity, detachment or another protective move may become the fastest truth. Priority does not establish accuracy. It shows which contribution has learned to speak for the whole system.

Different from: The Cross Talk. Signal priority concerns which channel leads. The Cross Talk concerns how channels influence, intensify, support or correct one another.
