The Lift is the bodily and emotional rise that can occur when The Almost arrives: relief, energy, opening, renewed hope or sudden availability.
The experience is real. It is not yet evidence that the larger pattern has changed. Naming it helps a reader notice the moment before hope becomes the familiar Reach.
Different from: nourishment. The Lift describes immediate activation or relief. Nourishment concerns what an experience supports and leaves behind.
