The Reach is what begins organising around keeping The Almost close after the Lift.
It may look like checking, explaining, becoming useful, performing ease, lowering a request or making oneself especially desirable. The term does not shame desire for contact. It helps separate the need from a strategy that may be paid for with time, voice or self-respect.
Different from: desire. Desire names the wanting. The Reach is a particular move made to secure or prolong an uncertain supply.
