From Upcycled to Altar

All of Me is the seventh seven-day journey.

You can know your body. Understand your mind. Hear your heart.

And still, under pressure, they split.

The body says no. The mind says be reasonable. The heart says do not lose them. The mouth says something polite.

This journey begins where the parts touch.

Body as signal. Mind as interpretation. Heart as meaning.

The distinction is simple enough to remember and spacious enough to change the conversation.

The body registers. The mind organises and interprets. The heart gives experience personal and relational meaning. Each contributes something distinct, and all three remain in conversation.

All of Me practises hearing more than one channel before the fastest or loudest one drowns out the others.

A map for The Cross Talk

Body, mind and heart are deliberately distinct in the book because the distinction helps a reader slow The Cross Talk down. It is an original SHJ map of experience, designed to make three contributions easier to hear. It is a map of experience, not anatomy.

Whenever a bodily signal enters awareness, it meets a mind with a history. Every interpretation occurs in a body. Every meaning is shaped by attention, memory, relationship and language. The map lets each contribution be heard on its own for a moment; lived experience brings them back together.

Integration is therefore a practice rather than a final state: staying with the inconvenient voice long enough to hear what it contributes.

The Cross Talk matters

A signal may be clear while its meaning is not. A thought may be intelligent and still organised around an old fear. The heart may love someone and grieve what contact with them costs.

Integration allows contradiction to remain present long enough for a choice that belongs to more of you.

Across seven days

The journey begins by seeing yourself in three dimensions. It notices Signal Priority, The Cross Talk and The Switch Point where one channel takes over.

It then stays with the absence of a clean answer, the cost of the split and the possibility of meeting the moment with all of you now.

The split may look like this

You make excellent decisions that your body has to survive afterwards.

You follow feeling while the mind watches consequences gather.

You can identify three true responses and feel paralysed because they do not agree.

You are ready to stop treating wholeness as unanimity.

Wholeness without unanimity

More dimensional self-contact. Earlier recognition of which voice took over. The capacity to remain in the honest middle while the answer is still taking shape.

Wholeness makes a place for the inconvenient voice too.

Hear the conversation beneath the conclusion

The body–mind–heart map becomes most useful at the switch point, before one channel has translated the whole event into its own language. Follow what sensation, interpretation and meaning each contribute.
