Embodiment is lived contact with experience through the body.
It does not mean performing calm, moving gracefully or always knowing what a sensation means. Sometimes embodiment is the clear experience of warmth or pressure. Sometimes it is noticing numbness, restlessness or that the body is difficult to hear today.
Different from: body image. Body image concerns how the body is perceived and evaluated. Embodiment concerns experience from within the body.
